Discover a recipe
Collecting a required material for the first time discovers its recipes. You do not need the full amount yet. A discovered recipe stays known even after you spend the material.
Finding a weapon, piece of armor, or item does not discover recipes in this way.
Unlock crafting
Discovering a recipe and unlocking crafting are separate steps. You can discover recipes before you have access to crafting. Recipe announcements wait until the feature is unlocked.
Make something
- Open Crafting from Inventory.
- Choose a discovered recipe and check its ingredients and gold cost.
- Gather anything you are missing.
- Select Craft to make the recipe once.
Crafting is instant and guaranteed. It consumes the required ingredients and gold, then gives you the result. If you do not have enough, nothing is consumed.
When crafting is unavailable
Finish your battle or resolve the current treasure event before crafting.
